Founder

Born on 29th September 1928 at Narsaraopet, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh to an orthodox Brahmin couple Sri Lolla Kameswara Rao & Smt Lolla Subbamma, Sri Lolla Venkata Satyanarayana joined the service of Andhra Bank as an under-graduate in September 1945.

Popularly known as LVS in the Andhra Bank fraternity of yesteryears, he served the Bank as an Officer since 1954 in various positions and grades. Took charge as Regional Manager for Telengana Region from 1976 to 1978 and Kurnool Region during 1978 – 1981 with jurisdiction over Kurnool, Mahaboob Nagar and Raichur (Karnataka) Districts.

As Regional Manager, he was associated with opening a substantial number of rural branches of the Bank in the districts of Nalgonda, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar etc. During the period, he was actively involved with the implementation of IRDP programmes including various relief operations, formulation & evaluation of dairy, poultry, and sheep rearing schemes, development of cottage industries, identification & adoption of villages for integrated development and promotion & management of farmers’ service societies etc.

Served as Chief Officer of the Stationery Department of the Bank from 1981 to 1984, as Staff Manager from 1984 to 1986 and Asst. General Manager (credit) from 1986 to 1988 at Central Office, Hyderabad.

Also associated with employees’ and officers’ organisations in Trade Union field for nearly two decades from 1956 as one of the principal office bearers.

He retired from the service of the Bank as Asst. General Manager (Credit) in September 1988 after reaching superannuation at the age of 60 and after completing 43 years of service in the Bank.

After retirement, with a view to making use of the experience & expertise of the just-retired employees of the bank (who are still active after retirement) and engaging their services for the purpose of community development, he conceptualized the idea of the formation of a Company.

The idea took shape and consequently ABREPOSE was established which started its functioning since 16 December 1991.

He breathed his last on 16th August 1995.
